Boebert say after 9/11 we didn't ban airplanes. Well we did make it harder for terrorist to get airplanes.

She makes a pretty good point.

We didn't blame planes for 9/11

We don't blame forks for our getting fat

We don't blame hammers when we hit our thumbs instead of the nail

We don't blame alcohol.makwrs for DUI accidents
But we did make it harder to get an airplane. And that is my point. We need to make it harder for nuts to get guns.

Yes, but we didn't make it harder for terrorists to get an airplane by having fewer airplanes and making them ALSO less accessible by law-abiding people.

If you want to suggest a solution to focus on and single out just unstable, dangerous people, we'd love to hear it.

The TSA is all very costly window dressing, that does nothing but inconvenience and humiliate millions of travelers over an aberration.

Little wonder that irrational moonbats are behind doing more of this.

No, the point is HOW we did that. And it wasn't through having fewer airplanes.

Yep.

USA Patriot Act of 2001 | The First Amendment …

The USA Patriot Act of 2001 was passed just 45 days after the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2001. The act gives federal officials sweeping and expanded authority to track and intercept communications for law …

We did ban guns, knives, bombs and anything else you may want to hijack a plane with
We lost rights included with that. It finally came out in the open when Garland started to charge parents concerned with their children in schools as terrorists under the Patriot Act. Of course, Jan. 6 will always be a prog farce of accusations. Not funny for any of the people protesting there now in jail without having a court date due to the Prog totalitarians knowing full well what they are doing.

We actually accomplished nothing with airplane security at all.
There just are not a lot of suicidal hijackers.

And the nuts out there are not at all deterred by more gun laws because anyone intent on suicide can afford to pay their life savings for the gun illegally.

The BEST solution to things like 9/11 hijackings would be to stop illegally murdering people like we did on the "Highway of Death". In fact, the whole Desert Storm was completely illegal, as Saddam had already asked permission to punish Kuwait for stealing oil and treaty violations, and ambassador Glaspie had given Saddam carte blanch,

Thought it was implied.

No, we do not need to make it harder for nuts to get guns.
What we need to do is make it harder for nuts to do anything without supervision.
There are far worse things they can do besides use guns.
And since these people are suicidal, clearly there already has to be a long history of problems that should have been noticed and addressed long ago.
