This is a sticky situation. It's like the TV example of a guy granted immunity to testify against "The Don".

Even if some voluntarily took drugs, there were at least 20-30 others who reported being drugged. Often showing Cosby used the same m.o.

Because of the statute of limitations, and their stories didn't come out until years after they happened, Cosby could not be charged for them.

This case hinges on the DA giving Cosby immunity in one case, so it could proceed to a civil trial, but in the process information he revealed about a different woman was later used against him.
