Unlike some of his opponents in the Democratic primaries (e.g., Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders), Biden has not push for a "wealth tax." But that doesn't mean he is opposed to taxing the wealthy more heavily. For instance, to help close the income gap, he wants to raise the highest personal income rate back up to 39.6% (it was lowered to 37% by the 2017 tax reform law) and cap itemized deductions for the wealthiest Americans at 28%. He won't raise taxes for anyone making less than $400,000, though.

Taxing the wealthy isn't the only way to narrow the income gap. Reducing taxes for low- and middle-income taxpayers will help that effort, too. Along those lines, Biden has proposed:

  • Expanding the childcare credit to $8,000;
  • Forgiving student loan debt and excluding the forgiven amount from taxation;
  • Expanding the work opportunity tax credit to include military spouses;
  • Enhancing tax breaks for workers who are saving for retirement; and
  • Creating tax credits for small businesses that offer retirement plans for their workers.

Biden never jumped on the Medicare-for-all bandwagon. Instead, he would rather keep and improve Obamacare. As part of his plan to do this,

To help protect Social Security, Biden would make more income from wealthier Americans subject to the Social Security payroll tax. (tramp keeps cutting the benefits of Medicare and SS)

Joe's plans are well thought out and reasonable. Not "pie in the sky" dreams that could never pass muster, but doable real-world solutions.

Well done, Joe.

Bidum's tax plan won't affect you unless you're trying to get a job and there's no capital to invest in new jobs.

Libtardos think poor people hire people.
Biden's tax plan won't affect you unless you're trying to get a job, or have a job, or have more than $1.95.

how would that affect you if you trying to find a job? or have a job, or have more than 1.95 in your pocket?

Because there won't be any Einstein...you know, the new normal.

The Democrats and their Chinese counterparts want America shutdown for good and Biden and his party full of useful idiots are the perfect vehicle for it

Bidens tax plan will harm the economy by raising taxes which will harm the poorest in the nation due to rising costs...just like the gas tax....who do you think that hurts the most?....do you want to go back to the Obama recession?...because that is where OBiden will take us....

You may hate Trump but do you hate him more than being able to pay your bills?....and even if you think you will do fine enough...how about family members?...do you care about them?.....Obama led the slowest recovery in American history....Trump recovered our economy in 6 months.....why give it back to OBiden Obama to destroy?....

Taxation is legalized theft and the average American works four months for free to pay all the taxes, fees, licenses, tags, etc, etc. The system benefits the corporate entity that is USA.INC. The current system was the reason people fled religious oppression and serfdom instead of bowing to papal authority. You have never been the sharpest of knives in this particular drawer and I have no doubt that you will look the other way concerning the sordid and perverse actions of Joe Pedo Biden.

Every Democrat policy is meant to manage America's decline into a new normal and fundamentally transform America into a global socialist police state run by oligarchs out of Europe.

The last people Democrats want to see do well are the American people.

Why you hatin' on me and in my pocket.

I will take a huge hit.

Biden's Tax Plan -probably won't affect you, although it might!
Anyone working for the people getting hit with a 39% tax rate will probably be affected.

Tax policy has a direct affect on employment numbers and job market. Of course, if you don't work, it won't affect you, so could be a reason why many ignore that FACT!!!
