And that joins a list of a lot of bizarre things tonight.”

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said ahead of Biden's speech that "The state of the union is weaker and American families are suffering because of Joe Biden," adding "there is a reason Republicans took back the House, and that’s because of speeches like tonight where Biden will ignore and deflect blame for inflation, rising crime, and a border crisis he created. Americans deserve solutions, but all they’ll hear from Biden are excuses," McDaniel reminded.

But this is was during the first 1/2 white presidents term, so money was gladly wasted. Now his Veep does the same. Just cant wait till the economy tanks, no law enforcement or military, then it will be fun...

Trump was never "America First". Trump was "Rich people first". What Trump said and what he did were polar opposites. And he never kept his promises to the American workers. When he walked into his golf club after signing the tax cuts he said "I just made you guys a whole lot of money".

Trump promised big raises to all workers from his tax cuts. What he delivered was stock buybacks which further concentrated wealth at the top. Trump made a lot of promises, and fulfilled none of them. Biden did the things Trump only talked about doing.

All of Trump's policies exaserbated the wealth and wage gap in the USA. NOTHING Trump did helped the American worker, despite claims to the contrary. Manufacturing DECLINED when Trump was in office, even before the pandemic.

What are the Republican solutions to these problems? I've been waiting for Republicans to come out with a platform? Anyone can criticize the efforts of others, but what are the Republicans plans?

Republicans took back the House and they've done NOTHING since they got it. They defunded the IRS, banned abortion, and threw Omar off the Foreign Relations Committee. Where are their plans to reduce the deficit.
