I really don't see the CCP enriching the Taliban. They didn't enrich the religious order in Tibet. Communism and religion don't mix. There are a lot of ways I see China/Afghan issues playing out. The preferred way in my mind is that Afghanistan takes down another super power--but I can't really see it playing out that way either. Most likely--China would defeat Afghanistan with an iron fist.
