FYI - Barack Obama cannot ever become a vice president, you have to be eligible to become president if necessary and he's no longer eligible.

BTW: If Biden resigns and Harris becomes the prez, she can and will nominate somebody to be her VP. BUT - that person has to be approved by both the House and the Senate by a majority vote; which may happen in the House cuz the democrats have the numbers there, but they don't in the Senate unless a repub votes to accept whoever Harris nominates and that ain't likely. A 50-50 vote in the Senate doesn't cut it and she cannot cast the tie-breaking vote.

Biden was literally the very best available. Had the DNC not fixed the primaries in his favor, Comrade Bernie would have won the delegate war of attrition. With all due respect, GG...if Covid doesn't take down the World's economy then Donald Trump would have had one of the most successful four years in the history of the nation. He was giving us historically good numbers! He had the border under control. We had so much oil and natural gas that we were exporting it for a change not depending on OPEC! He had brought stability to the Middle East with peace accords between Israel and several Arab nations. He was in the process of pulling our troops out of Iraq.

Joe Biden compared to Donald Trump is a raging dumpster fire! Everything he's done since taking office has turned to shit. Covid...the economy...the border...crime in the streets...the Afghan pullout...you name it...Joe Biden has FUBARED it!

Trump took over an expanding economy and kept it going. I will give him that much. But people are not measured by how they handle the good times, but how they deal with the bad. My dog could have kept the economy rolling with as much money as the Fed Govt was spending during those years.
