As for their future, I can't see how a political party that is as Far Left as the democrats are can have much of a future in this country. They got beat in VA and almost got beat in NJ, but did they learn anything from it? NO, they doubled down on their Far Left policies instead. Once they get in, the GOP is gonna have to fuck up big time for the democrats to get back in charge. Which frankly is not out of the question.

It's been a remarkable few years politically because of Covid, Task. The pandemic allowed Democrats to nominate and elect a candidate that was never subjected to the rigors of a normal campaign. Let's be honest here...there is zero chance that Joe Biden gets elected President if the people saw him as he is now! That's how Covid was a plus for the Dems.

The negative side to Covid is that for the first time parents got to actually see for themselves what their kids were being taught in school systems that are overwhelmingly controlled by the far left and they were appalled by what they saw and heard. Liberals have been indoctrinating our young for decades while parents were oblivious. Remote learning with parents watching over their children's shoulders revealed how crazy things had gotten with our education system and parents fought back at school committee meetings all over the country. The teacher's unions tried to silence those parents by siccing the FBI on them with accusations of "terrorism" only to have that backfire on them big time in places like Virginia!

Now the teacher's unions and Democratic politicians are soiling themselves because they realize that they've awoken a sleeping giant.

I hope so. If the people don't take back their country pretty soon, then I'm not sure they'll be able to do it later once the democrats change the rules and the processes. It's gonna take a concerted and continuous effort, cuz the other side is not going to go away quietly.
