Best decades for music

AWESOME Classic Rock of the 60s and 70s is still my FAVORITE but you have to LOVE the 1 hit wonders of the 1980s too.

1990s music had a very distinct Grudge and Fraternity Brother style.

At the time I did not like it but compared to the last 25 years- its pretty GREAT

The 1980s wins followed by the 1970s then 60s then 90s

I agree

The 2010s were so awful its placed behind 30s and 40s lol

Also the 2010s has the WORST F movies in history.
2010s has both the worst music and movies and the 2020s is even worse lol
1967 to 1982. A mix of all styles of music released and played on the radio. The hey day if you will.
Before and after that (early 60's and mid to late 80's) pockets were good.
Late 90's on were terrible except for here and there good sounding music (in my old fart opinion).

I love the late 60s to the mid 90s

IT was the late 1990s that the music got AWFUL

Some great music in the mid 80s

Yes you know your music.

I loved Tears for Fears in the mid 80s

There were a few, but for the most part, the 80s was the MTV shit generation.

Probably over 30 1 hit wonder songs that I love !! Such fun music and nostalgic

I like classic rock but I also love 1 hit wonder 80s

Some grudge stuff of the 90s is good with Alice, Pearl Jam and STP

.

I liked the 70's.

The 1870's.

This megahit never fails to perk me up.

Listen all the way to the end or you'll miss the dramatic part.

Michael Andrews did a fantastic remake of that song. It sounds nothing like the original. It was used in the movie "Donnie Darko".
Hey -- we agree!

Always a first.

If you like stripped down versions of 80s sounds, you should try "The Ghost in You", by Robyn Hitchcock, originally by Psychedelic Furs.

I pretty much agree. For me, it's a toss up between 70s & 80s for top spot. There are only a handful of modern musicians I care to listen to. Most of today's junk is AI, autotuned crap with woke or bubble gum lyrics.
