Best decades for music

I can't really say and it's because in my opinion, there is at least one good act that first started getting played on the radio in each decade.

God bless you and my favorites who are still here always!!!

Hey -- we agree!

Always a first.

If you like stripped down versions of 80s sounds, you should try "The Ghost in You", by Robyn Hitchcock, originally by Psychedelic Furs.
LOL. This is my favorite song from him.

I pretty much agree. For me, it's a toss up between 70s & 80s for top spot. There are only a handful of modern musicians I care to listen to. Most of today's junk is AI, autotuned crap with woke or bubble gum lyrics.
.

Imagine that -- machines making "music" which is accepted as "art".

Pretty sick.

Some days I want CLASSIC ROCK..
Some days I want soft 80s 1 hit wonders.

Sounds like I am bisexual lol because they are so different lol

The best decades for music were 1730-1820.

Just sayin'.

Classical music based on Mozart in the mid 1700's was the best decades. Everything else is a rip off of classical music or noise.

1967 to 1982. A mix of all styles of music released and played on the radio. The hey day if you will.
Before and after that (early 60's and mid to late 80's) pockets were good.
Late 90's on were terrible except for here and there good sounding music (in my old fart opinion).

I would extend that to mid 80s
