Hypocrite.

“Bernie Sanders released his 2014 tax return this weekend, revealing that he and his wife took $60,208 in deductions from their taxable income. These deductions are all perfectly legal and permitted under the U.S. tax code, but they present a morally inconvenient, if delicious, irony: The Democratic socialist from Vermont, a man who rages against high earners paying a lower effective tax rate than blue-collar workers, saved himself thousands using many of the tricks that would be banned under his own tax plan.”

I don't see a problem with it, really.
I want the tax code simplified but will I turn down credits or anything? Nope.
Doesn't mean I don't want it fixed..

Arguments like this are always weak. I don't agree with Sanders' plan. But the whole idea is that raising taxes and investing in social programs yields an overall common good. Demanding that people individually just fork over extra tax dollars if they advocate for raising taxes is absurd.

I believe in living peacefully.
I believe everyone has the right to live.
Now that I've said that, are you going to demand I roll over and die if someone breaks into my home and attacks me, and lethal force is my only option?

Automat weapons in civil life. Old white gangsters from 1920's and 1930's in the U.S.

why are we still talking about Bernie, he is done Hillary will be the nom.

The USMB RW Sanders Manifesto:
“Bernie’s old[er than Trump by five years]…and nobody takes him seriously.”

“Bernie’s a commie [to those of us too ignorant to know what democratic socialism means]…and nobody takes him seriously.”

“Bernie doesn’t have a chance and should drop out…and nobody takes him seriously.”

“Bernie’s an old commie who doesn’t have a chance… and that’s why we’re going to start dozens of threads about him to show we don’t take him seriously.”

Bernie might as well be a commie. He only let off his radicalism because he knew it wouldn't get him out of the local limelight.

Truth dude. Sorry.

I would vote for Bernie sanders over anyone running for the duopoly. But im not going to act like a fool when it comes to who he was/is.
And I guess I should clarify arian, I don't really think he is a commie, but a socialist.

Would that be "a lie repeated often enough"?

ETA: Post #17 - much better!

But there is a big difference between socialist and democrat socialist. He used to be a radical socialist. No doubt about that.

Yes, and he sure had an option of opting out of taking all those deductions also. But he's a joke anyway.

A 25 year senator, goes on the campaign trail, campaigning on breaking up the "big banks" and never realized that he nor the Federal Government had the authority to do. Sanders exhibits an extreme lack of knowledge, a glowing ineptitude, that is unmatched by any other on this planet.
