Ben Carson says abortion is same as human sacrifice!

Why are there two different terms if they mean the same thing?

One references the age.

The other is the species.

You do need to go back to school, good grief.

Again the overweening stupidity of the left (while at the same time they assert their brilliance and superior understanding) is breathtaking.

So how old is a fetus? Considering it hasn't been born yet. How is it a baby?

I'm sorry these terms are too complex for you, but I am not a certified teacher.

Please return to school.

Abortion is a violent process that literally rips a living part of the woman out of the womb. The womb is designed to protect and nurture the new life.

Abortion is designed to destroy a living part of the Woman.

Then why do you mention God if you don't believe in God?

The fetus is a human being. Take a class in high school biology.

Why are there two different terms if they mean the same thing?

Well...

A child is a human being as is an adult.

Why the different terms?

Perhaps for a more precise identification?

And that's coming from someone who is pro choice.

Do not criticize their position. Understand it and respect it.

I could respect it if they actually practiced what they preached, but once the baby is actually born they don't give a shit about its well being. Which kills all the credibility they might have had about caring about the well being of the baby.

They don't.

It's fun to watch you try to make this about me, when you find yourself incapable of intelligently supporting the logic of wanting to facilitate baby killing.

You know words have meaning, right? There are actual definitions attached to words. Imagine that.

Once you start using words as they were intended your argument turns to shit.

Right. Didn't think you could answer.

"I'm so smart, I can't even tell you the answer".

Well done.

The same can be said for any elective surgery. What was your point again?

You have gone form a engaging in an interesting debate to expressing hatred for those that think differently than you.

This board sucks the sanity out of all of us from time to time.

It's actually a fetus, but thanks for trying.

Interesting debate?

You have zombies like Koshergirl calling people baby killers and you think thats interesting debate? Please, let's not pretend she is open to real discussion when we both know she clearly isn't interested or capable.

Whatever. Do you disagree that God and the baby have no relationship with the mother and butcher..um doctor?

I don't believe a God. There is no baby. It is a human fetus. Not considered a child until it is viable. The fetus rely's completely on the mother. So there is a relationship.

you believe it is a fetus, not a baby.
He believes a fetus IS a baby.

The rest is just political rhetoric and spin.

Clinically speaking in terms of human development an embryo is not a fetus, like a fetus is not a baby, like a baby is not a toddler, like a toddler is not a young adult. Basically if you find the definition of Embryo it is: a developing human from conception to 8 weeks. The definition of Fetus is: a developing human from 8 weeks to birth.

In real life I expect most couples or single mothers who want the child to view it as their child, their baby, of course. Personally, I couldn't view it any other way. But I'm not going to tell anyone how they should feel about it.

If a fetus is a baby, how come we don't count them in the census.

If a fetus is a baby, how come people say "we have 2 children and 1 on the way" and not "we have 3 children"

If a fetus is a baby how come we don't have a funeral and bury them when there is a miscarriage?

The reason is, a fetus is not a baby.

It was a quote from Mr. Carson about a candidate he supported. She was pro-choice. That was how Ben characterized her belief. He was defending her.

I'm not sure what your human fetus point is?

And we keep developing after birth. Regardless, in every stage of development is a human being.

they are counted....in the number of abortions....around 1.5 million since RvW...

If a fetus is a baby, how come people say "we have 2 children and 1 on the way" and not "we have 3 children"
1 child on the way doesn't mean they don't have a third child...

If a fetus is a baby how come we don't have a funeral and bury them when there is a miscarriage?
some people do...

The reason is, a fetus is not a baby.
a fetus is a growing baby...
