Zone1 Banning books is wrong

Name a book that is allegedly banned in America and I guarantee you I will find a source where it can be bought or a library where it can be borrowed for free.
Banned and obtainable are two different things.

What's your point? Name me a so-called "unobtainable" book and I guarantee I will show a way to obtain it.
The point is that you understand what "obtainable" means but you do not understand the definition of "banned".

Then stop speaking in riddles and explain it clearly so I may be dazzled by your brilliance.

If your point is that which is banned cannot be obtained while that which is unobtainable is not banned, then my response is so what? No book in America is either banned nor unobtainable. Some books may not be available in school libraries, but they can still be obtained outside of them.

The San Jose Public library system (the largest one west of the Mississippi) has approx. 2 million items. Are you suggesting they all need to be available in school libraries and if they are not then they are unobtainable?

Many of the book bans centred on Gay topics.
I think they should be available to youngsters.
No, 8 year olds should not be taught sex of any kind.

Children should only know of what comes natural, love of a genetic female mom and a genetic male dad

Too many children have been destroyed by being taught they are gay.

Why is this so difficult? You insinuated that banning a book doesn't make it vanish. You further said that there are no banned books that cannot be found to exist. I confirmed what you said by saying Banned and obtainable are two different things. You asked me what my point is. Is my point not obvious? Many people have the notion that if something is banned that it is destroyed. You say "no" and I agree.

I insinuated no such thing. Seems like you're the one having difficulty here.

You further said that there are no banned books that cannot be found to exist.
Again, not what I said. I said there are no banned book in the USA. I made no comments on their visibility or existence, which I don't even know what that means.

It's clear as mud.

You would do better to tell me what you think than to mischaracterize what you think I think. I have told you what I think. You have been utterly silent on what you think. Frankly it's getting a little boring. Start opening up or we're done.

What is the difference - in your words, not mine - between banning and unobtainable? You said they are two different things. Different how?

Sit on your ears.

The glaster is a troll. Ignore it and it will die.

Nobody has ever been taught about their sexuality. They figure it out for themselves.

A craze that seems to have run its course.
It seems to be less popular than it was lasst year. Maybe everything has been banned.
Im going to put forward an unpopular viewpoint.
I agree with the first amendment.
Thats one of the more unpopular parts of the US constitution.
I dont believe in banning books. I dont believe in banning ideas that I dont like.
Thats a bit unfashionable these days.
Nobody ever told me what I could or couldnt read.
I think reading stuff makes you a more balanced adult. Better educated.

I think they should be available to youngsters.
Firstly they would help teens growing up and struggling with it.
Secondly it would combat the hate that we see on these boards which is a stain on america.
Much of that uses a faux religous cober for outright prejudice.
I think better educated kids will be happier kids less likely to kill each other.
Of course there needs to be some streaming of titles. Some books would be wasted on kids if they are too young to appreciate them. But not banned by zealots.
A b etter informed world is a better world.

Banning books in school that are sexually inappropriate for children isnt banning books. Progressive parents can still buy all the pornography they want and expose their children to it.

"Liberals" believe they can expose their and other children to anything at any age with no consequence.

Its why their kids and our education system are whacked.

Because Progressive Liberals are relying on the idea that children can still believe in fairytales.

America is mad keen on banning books. No doubt in support of their former first amendment.

Repeating the lies that you do is bad enough.

Repeating them in pursuit of the grooming of little boys is absolutely despicable.

So you agree then. Books like that are not appropriate for children.

Stop defending pedophiles
