2022 and 2024 will be normal. The last 4 years have been so chaotic and abysmal in terms of the atmosphere that it seems that our politics are no better than that of a third world nation. It's hard to remember that it was within 12 years or so that John McCain had to slap down one of his supporters and tell her that Obama was a good decent man. It was 8 years ago or so that Romney and Obama did the Al Smith dinner.... The WWE circuit has only been camped out in Washington for 4 years. When the lie fest goes away...things will get back to normal. The "outrage" will subside as people no longer have their wrongheaded and stupid conspiracy theories re-enforced by a higher authority.

As for the "true believers" like zip tie guy (former Air Force Officer), that is a problem that is going to have to be solved by law enforcement I'm afraid. What you'll see is more Eric Rudolphs; guerilla style attacks on soft targets. The perpetrators will be hunted down like dogs and dealt with. The support systems are there but they are nowhere near as extensive as the perps think.
