Those are states supported by the parties. It's the south which is mostly racist. It WAS Democrat. It IS Republican.

Back in the day, the reason why many people belonged to the Democratic Party because that was the Party which endorsed and promoted slavery, poll taxes, black codes, racial segregation, etc...

Since 1965 the Democratic Party has become more and more progressively left, became more hostile to religion and capitalism, and even challenges white men for running for president, simply because of their race and gender. People left the Democratic Party for all the above reasons, and race had nothing to do with it.

Fast forward to today, and the Democratic Party has slid so far left, that we have self avowed socialists leading in the Democratic Party's presidential primary election process. People left the Democratic Party because it became liberal and hostile to their way of life, and opposed basic values.

Exactly so. Clinton's and Obama's mentors were racists, they had close associates and friends who were racists and religious bigots. Al Gore's father was a segregationist as was Joe Biden.
