A basic question: Do you believe that human beings are the highest form of intelligence in the universe? If yes, you are an atheist. If no, then you allow for the existence of a superior intelligence. By definition that intelligence would be god-like to us, just as we are god-like to lesser entities. However, the idea that we can fully understand that intelligence is as absurd as believing that there is no higher intelligence in the first place.

God knows every time a bird falls from the sky. Jesus explicitly said so.

So yes, God is concerned with the big stuff AND the small stuff.

My not believing in any one- or all- of the various religions and gods of the world is nothing more than that- I don't believe what you do.

If you could have snapped your fingers and stopped those planes from flying into those buildings on 9 11 would you have done it? So you are kinder than your own god.

There might be higher life forms in another solar system or in another galaxy. I just don't think the Abraham god exists.

The universe is all there is was and will ever be. Why does a god have to exist? Maybe the universe is eternal. No beginning no end.
