So then Paul was wrong and God, in fact, does NOT have mercy on all.Lake of fire= eternal destruction.
Mercy on your souls, for you are all lacking knowledge of God.
Z99, your path is for you and God.
The best to you.
Your trespasses will be forgiven as you forgive the trespasses of others. You will be judged as you judge others. So then Paul was wrong and God, in fact, does NOT have mercy on all.
I think it depends upon what one can abide and what is being demanded.Jesus is said to have said give to the government belongs to it, so recorded within fifty to seventy years after his death.
So, yes, a Christian should follow the government and tell it when s/he thinks it is wrong.
That is worthy of discussion, yes.I think it depends upon what one can abide and what is being demanded.
Render to Ceaser what is Ceasers, but when the state tells you that you can't witness to people with the gospel you go to the cross if need be.I guess that scripture says something about how government is put in place by God and we're supposed to just follow it and accept it. However, what if it's currently ungodly? Once Trump is president again I'll gladly follow it and accept it, but until January 20th it isn't happening.
God does not murder, he judgesYes it did. Thou shall not murder and Sodom and Gomorrah.
Paul clearly wrote that Christians should SUBMIT to the governing authorities WHEN NERO WAS CAESAR.As for Paul, I suspect it is your interpretation of Paul that is wrong.
That's right. "God is not a man, so he does not lie; he is not human, so he does not change his mind." Numb 23:9. God abandons many to their folly without compunction, without pity, and they suffer, injuring themselves and the people that they love. Only those who hear the will of God and do it, dwell in the sanctuary of his love.So then Paul was wrong and God, in fact, does NOT have mercy on all.
Render to Ceaser what is Ceasers
Jesus succinctly put it--render under Caesar what is Caesar's and render under God what is God's. I interpret that to mean that we live as amicably as we can with the government we have but we also love and obey God. And I am pretty sure we are safe to assume that when these two things are in conflict, God is the higher power.I guess that scripture says something about how government is put in place by God and we're supposed to just follow it and accept it. However, what if it's currently ungodly? Once Trump is president again I'll gladly follow it and accept it, but until January 20th it isn't happening.
That you took a wrong turn at post #42.Paul clearly wrote that Christians should SUBMIT to the governing authorities WHEN NERO WAS CAESAR.
What does that tell you??
No. It should tell you that Paul was an actor and lying fraud, a traitor, a self loathing, masochistic, homophobic, misogynist, just like any practitioner of Mithraism, who sided with the Romans to pervert the teachings of Jesus. That you took a wrong turn at post #42.
You still aren't on track with the discussion. Maybe try again? Try starting at post #41 this time.No. It should tell you that Paul was an actor and lying fraud, a traitor, a self loathing, masochistic, homophobic, misogynist, just like any practitioner of Mithraism, who sided with the Romans to pervert the teachings of Jesus.
"God is not a man, so he does not lie; he is not human, so he does not change his mind." Numb 23:9. God abandons many to their folly without compunction, without pity, and they suffer, injuring themselves and the people that they love. Only those who hear the will of God and do it, dwell in the sanctuary of his love and enjoy life sane, have abundant blessings and eternal life here on earth knowing he who truly is God.
"Never again will I pity the inhabitants of the earth." Zechariah 11:6. And that was said a very long time ago.
"Any that are to die, let them die, any that are to stray, let them stray, and the rest can devour one another." that's why Jesus said, love one another, because Jesus understood the truth that God had said FU to the inhabitants of the earth a very long time ago. And I really do not find it hard to understand why.
"In one month I got rid of the three shepherds because I had lost patience with them and they had come to abhor me."
In the error filled religions, they teach a literal eternal suffering. So then Paul was wrong and God, in fact, does NOT have mercy on all.
