Astounding the speed at which the future is coming at us. Being able to point one's phone at an object and instantly see information about it is a game-changer. One day we will look back and wonder how we ever did without it - like we do know about the internet and cell phones.

The US military has been funding research for flexible video screens for a while. Apple's new device uses what was learned by that government funded research.

That's stupid. We have invested in research that developed most of our technology and medical advances for a long time.

That's stupid. We have invested in research that developed most of our technology and medical advances for a long time.
Yeah....and maniacs have been raping and murdering women going all the way back to Jack the Ripper in the late 1800's. Just because something illegal has been going on for a long time, doesn't make it ok. :cuckoo:
