Another story for trump fans to dismiss.

The thread began with a story of Emil Bove telling DoJ subordinates to ignore court orders. Giving some perspective on the disregard for the law by trump officials. Naturally, he has since been made a federal judge.

Judge Emil Bove Faces Ethics Complaint for Attending Trump Rally

Judge Emil Bove III, a federal appeals court judge who made his career as a stalwart supporter of President Trump, is now facing a complaint over his attendance at a campaign-style rally held by Mr. Trump at a Pennsylvania casino resort on Tuesday.

The complaint, which was filed on Wednesday with the chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and was written by Gabe Roth, who heads the advocacy group Fix the Court, said that Judge Bove’s attendance at the rally violated rules that prohibit judges from “the appearance of impropriety” and engaging in “political activity.”

Judge Bove declined to comment. At the event, he said he was “just here as a citizen coming to watch the president speak,” according to a reporter from MSNOW who spotted him there.

Judge Bove previously served on Mr. Trump’s criminal defense team and was then chosen by Mr. Trump for a high-ranking job in the Justice Department. Mr. Trump’s selection of Judge Bove to the federal bench was a departure from his first-term judicial nominees, who were mostly well-known conservative lawyers with ties to the Federalist Society, not loyalists who had personally defended the president in court. The Senate narrowly confirmed him to the bench of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in July.

It's emblematic of how trumpers feel there is no ethics or legal violation they involve themselves with that they will be held accountable for. The fish, as they say, rots from the head.

I Was the President’s Pardon Attorney. He’s Making a Mockery of the Pardon Process.

President Trump took pardon abuse to a new level this year with a string of dubious clemencies that together present a unique case study in how this unfettered executive power can be used to degrade, corrupt and politicize the justice system.

The president pardoned one of his supporters, Michele Fiore, a Nevada politician who was convicted of federal charges that she used money from a police memorial fund for personal expenses, including for plastic surgery. He pardoned another supporter, Scott Jenkins, a former sheriff in Virginia who took bribes in exchange for badges. He pardoned Todd and Julie Chrisley, reality TV personalities imprisoned for tax evasion and defrauding banks, whose daughter campaigned for Mr. Trump. He commuted the sentence of Imaad Zuberi, a major donor convicted of a host of crimes including illegal lobbying.

Mr. Trump’s clemencies certainly aren’t the first to raise eyebrows. Both Republican and Democratic presidents have, in certain instances, used their constitutional pardon power for questionable ends: George H.W. Bush pardoned officials embroiled in the Iran-contra scandal; Bill Clinton pardoned the billionaire fugitive Marc Rich; Joe Biden pardoned his son.

But for the most part, they relied on the Justice Department’s pardon attorney — a position I held for nearly three years — to evaluate clemency applications. Even when they acted against their pardon attorney’s advice, they typically did so with the benefit of thorough investigation and analysis prepared by a team of nonpolitical experts. Mr. Trump has flipped the table on the deliberative approach favored by his predecessors. The damage won’t easily be undone.

What else can trumples do but dismiss these stories? Confronting them makes it impossible not to conclude they made a spectacular mistake voting for Don.

Trump supporters are deep in denial

After he leaves offices then the snowball will be out of control

Trump does well because he is a republican and no republican (during this time frame) is going to rank any democrats and for republicans they have no other choices.

other sources rank consistantly point to Trump at the bottom of the worst president list

With respect to presidential rankings, no prez has been engaged in so many illegal acts as prez. No doubt owing to the Roberts court creating immunity out of whole cloth combined with Don's habit, both in and out of office, of breaking the law.
