Zone1 Another question to ponder.

It’s largely because your all-powerful and all-knowing deity apparently still thought that somehow humanity could redeem itself at the point of Boah’s little Animal Kingdom cruise.
Shouldnt the omniscient one already have known that wouldnt work?

Of course there is original sin of mankind in the Bible. (Gen. 2:17) "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it, for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

(Gen. 3:6) "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."

(1 Tim. 2:14) "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."

Original Sin.

They ate and they did not die. It was Gods plan that they eat the fruit all along. You cant sin if you obey Gods plan. The plan is Adam and Eve acquiring morals. How is that a sin. Before they ate the fruit they had no idea what sin was therefore they cant sin. You have to know your doing wrong.
This is called the moral teaching of man and the trial for mans freedom. There is no fall of man or original sin. So Jesus has no reason to exist

Religion....The biggest hoax ever foisted upon mankind.

IMHO ancient cultures were better served worshiping the Sun.

So god sent jesus (himself) to save us from himself. He did that so he could forgive sins. Atonement.
Why didnt he do that, instead of the flood? Why did he kill the entire planet and almost all the animals, when he could have just sent jesus earlier? Did the omniscient one just not think of jesus yet? Or is he just a freaking psychopath?
This is just another pondering that leaves me in the "WTF" category.
"So god sent jesus (himself) to save us from himself."

You have the wording wrong in that sentence. It should read, "So God sent Jesus (himself) to save the Jews from himself." When Jesus was born the only people who were alive and believed in GOD were the Jews and history shows God did nothing to save them.

No that is just what Christians say. The verse is about the ongoing struggle between good and evil, and how good will prevail. It has nothing to do with god sending himself in human form to save us from himself.

It is about the struggle with good and evil. But it involves mankind. It involves the seed of the Serpent and the Seed of the woman. The Seed promise is the promise of Christ Who shall come. (Gal. 3:16) "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promise made, He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ."

It has everything to do with Christ coming and being the One Sacrifice that will pay for the sins of the world. And thus salvation is only accomplished through Jesus Christ.

Jews were persecuted by Christians for the next 3000 years

The atheist nations USSR Cambodia and Red China slaughtered over 120 million people
Right. And your belief is that no devils were involved because they don't exist in Judaism? lol. Seriously?

Is that the best you can do?

It's a sin because it was against God's command. "Thou shalt not eat'. Thus there is the original sin.

Again, you don't have to believe it. But that is the testimony of the Bible.

Probably because the flood was an allegorical account of an historical event that was so out of the ordinary and unusual that it was noteworthy enough to be passed down orally from generation to generation. And like the other historical events in the first eleven chapters of Genesis, it was embellished with moral truths to make it more memorable so that it was easier to remember and pass down.

In other words, God didn't send a flood to kill the entire planet.

After the fact isnt a very good argument.

Why didn’t He just snap His fingers and eliminate all the sinners in one fell swoop instead of sending His only child to earth to be brutally murdered while all the sinners got off Scot free?

It never made any sense to me.

Another thing Jews got wrong about their own religion. You are an anti-semite.

That doesnt instill as much fear.

Thats what you guys always say when you are presented with logic.
It's hilarious that you interpret the account of the flood literally even though you know it's stupid to interpret it literally and then argue others should interpret it literally.

You aren't exactly someone I would trust to explain what the bible says.
I know I know. Someone that doesnt buy your bogus reasoning to justify your belief in this retarded magic shit, is dumb. Thats your schtick.

They didnt die did they so the command was false. The command was a test of free will. They were supposed to disobey it. Then they acquired moral values. How is that in any sane mind a sin. God was teaching humanity that morals must go with free will. That cant be a sin.
Christians invented original sin to create reason for Jesus to exist. Its a lie. Jesus never existed he is an idol.

Almost everything in the bible is stupid, anti-semite.
