I've been trying to tell you now for two days that this meaning is MATHEMATICALLY WRONG, but your head is too full of sand to get that.

The one actual meaning of LCD is in stark conflict to how the idiots like you mindlessly repeat it on the street because you haven't any ******* idea how the term actually applies to numbers and are too dull to bother actually looking it up.

Funny how resistant people on the Left ever are to learning anything, to growing, or to ever accepting ideas new to them if they imply they were wrong about anything else.

They called Trump xenophobic because he was calling the Corona virus disease, the Kung Flu, the China virus, the Wuhan virus.... any thing but COVID19..... which caused crazy people to double down on their attacks on Asian Americans here. The flights being cancelled weren't really involved. That was ALL right wing spin in your universe and your propaganda media.

The criticism of the China flights being cancelled, was that by the time they were cancelled, it was too late to stop the virus....it was already here and spreading like wildfire..... And the flights from China were not stopped from American businessmen returning from China, who were carrying the virus.....we had no covid testing at the airports, these people spread it in to their communities....

And also in hindsight, the eastcoast, New York metro populations got their Covid virus from the EU...they got a mutated variant that began in Great Britain from people on flights....not the Wuhan version beginning in China coming on flights.

You are mistaken on being paid for covid deaths...that again is just right wing propaganda from your media universe.

The higher Medicare payment for Covid patients does not require them to die....no one needs to LIE about a DEATH to get the higher stipulation paid.... the extra money is because it costs much more for a covid patient because they have to be isolated, in a room of their own, more PPE protective gear needed, and longer stays for covid patients, preventing general elective surgeries from being performed which is where hospitals make their most money....etc.....THIS has nothing to do with a COVID death.

The govt decided to pay more in MEDICARE for COVID patient's care.

What hospitals got for patients not on Medicare but their own healthcare insurance, was not the govts concern.... Only seniors on Medicare were given a stipend for COVID patients...and again, not for covid deaths.

Will new restrictions on travel from Africa to the United States protect Americans from the COVID-19 Omicron variant? The jury is still out on that, even as reasonable people may worry more that the chance to continue fearmongering is driving some of the alarmism.
But one thing we know for sure is that the same people who are praising Biden’s decision to restrict travel from areas where the new strain has been detected were singing a very different tune when the same tactic was employed by former President Donald Trump. When asked directly on Monday whether Biden was a hypocrite for criticizing measures that he has now employed, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki responded with what can only be described as a brazen lie.
Psaki claimed Biden “has not been critical of travel restrictions — we have put those in place ourselves.” She said Biden’s claim as a presidential candidate that Trump’s travel ban was racist was merely criticizing a tweet and that Biden was consulting with scientists and Trump was not. These assertions are false.

It’s possible that Biden, like other world leaders, is overreacting to the new variant. After 21 months of government overreach on COVID-19 precautions, skepticism is warranted. But we do know the attacks on Trump over these issues were nothing but partisan propaganda and had nothing to do with genuine concerns about discrimination.
At the very least, Biden and his supporters are hypocrites. But their willingness to employ measures that hurt black Americans and other unvaccinated minorities — all the while spewing spurious claims that unvaccinated Republicans and Trump supporters are the reason why the virus is still out there — means that if anyone is guilty of embracing measures that disproportionately hurt black people, it is Biden, not his predecessor.

Commentary:
Travel bans may be necessary, not to stop the spread but to slow it down. Trump applied the travel while Biden accused him of Xenophobia and incompetence. Yet 21 months later Biden does the same with a mutation of the same virus. Yet, at the same time Biden has no plans after that. In Trump's case he was pushing for a vaccine at the same time, hoping to prevent as many deaths as possible. Biden tried to take incentives away from vaccine producers a few months back. I have not heard of him trying to do anything different than what Trump had already done in regards to new strains. Plus ... it's so double-faced hypocritical of them to run down Trump's efforts and his travel bans at that crucial time when they impose travel bans now.
