An interesting law - will it be enforced?

Now if I say

"you can buy as much bacon as you want"

then you go to the store and the store says "oh we stopped selling bacon".

how is that my fault?

If you used to be allowed to buy as much bacon as you wanted, and then a law was passed and signed by the president stopping that, even if the president said publicly that bacon would always be availible the same as before, then it would be the presidents fault.

The law created new standards for insurance to provide. I.E. Maternity coverage for men and prostate cancer screening coverage for women. The law created a blanket to be thrown over the American people. This forced insurance companies to cancel plans that became unlawful because people tend to buy cheaper coverage with specific benefits. The law that Obama pushed and campaigned for and feigned knowledge of created these circumstances. After years of telling everyone the benefits of his law his law proved him wrong. Passing the law to find out what's in it is and was obviously the worst way to go about debating a law of such magnitude and influence. You act like he can't be held accountable for his law that he forced upon the general public. But that's understandable because everyone seems to be of the opinion that politicians aren't responsible for their actions and they should receive a pass on everything they do.

second, this law was crafted by his Administration. If his staff did not pick up a phone & talk to the insurance companies on their possible reactions, then they were grossly negligent. If they did so & were told that the introduction of this law would result in the mass cancellations that we have seen, then they are entirely culpable. Either way, accountability is established.

third, this is his signature legislation, he owns it for good or bad.

The problem Obama has is he willfully and knowingly lied to the American people when he said "if you have your insurance and you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance." And "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor." Both statements were lies, intended to get Congress people to vote or the bill and the American people to vote for him again.

That is what can get him impeached.

The insurance companies have a policy they are selling. People are happy with this policy. The government passes a law that changes the requirement of ALL health care insurance. The insurance company makes a business decision that they have to cancel that policy and perhaps offer one in compliance with the law. What they now offer is not what the people had, has to be much more expensive, and makes what Obama said a total pile of BS.

Kind of like if they raised the taxes on your internet connection to the point where you could not afford the service. It wasn't the government that did it to you, by your logic, but the Internet provider.

(a) Whoever, in any matter involving a health care benefit program, knowingly and willfully—
(1) falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact; or
(2) makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statements or representations, or makes or uses any materially false writing or document knowing the same to contain any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry,
in connection with the delivery of or payment for health care benefits, items, or services, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.
(b) As used in this section, the term “health care benefit program” has the meaning given such term in section 24 (b) of this title.

I'm sure that will be enforced, just as rigorously as our border laws have been enforced.

Under the Obama administration, it will only be enforced against Republicans.
