State level political leadership really lacks on their unfolding response to the Covid 19 crisis, actually it's more catastrophic! Numerous states are tightening the Pandemic restrictions affecting businesses giving as the justification that hospitals especially Intensive Care Units are approaching capacity and these steps need to be taken to stop the hospitals from reaching their limits in these areas! This wimpy view is utter foolishness; the governors of these states should be calling up their national guard units to build temporary hospitals in their state to handle the surge, how long do these states have to hold on for - six months before the vaccine effect largely mutes the problem, these states' hospitals have doctors with specialties that have significantly been sidelined because of the epidemic, such doctors have the foundational knowledge where they could be recruited and utilized immediately to staff the Covid 19 wards of these temporary hospitals. The American people know why the governors are not taking this increase hospital capacity approach instead of the shutdown the economy approach because they are mad as hell at the large part of their state population that are not adhering to the instructions to stop the spread of the virus like wear masks and avoid high number of person gatherings so they are penalizing this public by tightening the movement and gathering restrictions in their state. This is incredibly unwise and shortsighted because these governors will ultimately be hurting themselves because these shutdowns are putting many small businesses permanently out of business which means for these Governors less tax revenue so less revenue for schools, public employees salary and benefits and less for capital projects, etc.. Even considering a viable optimal rescue package coming from Washington it ain't going to make up for these shut downs, the maximum loan amount for these small businesses for this rescue package small business program will be a loan/grant for two and a half times their monthly payroll expense, that will definitely help and save some businesses but many small businesses have been so economically hurt by this Covid crisis this help won't save them, their only path to survival is authorities lifting these latest surge restrictions on their business so they can get back to business. This is hard to say but this virus that causes Covid 19 the SARS-COV-2 is going to kill a truly lot of people in America before the vaccine is distributed widely enough to largely shutdown the spread - nothing can be done about that, the really critical issue however is how much of America will be left when the pandemic is over prudence calls for trying to maximize the salvation of America's economy and thus America's future! America's Governors there is still time to save a lot of your state's economy that is poised to slide off the cliff, choose a different path build hospitals instead of shutting down your state's economy!
