Battleground PA: Here's Why Allegheny County Decided to Basically Take the Day Off Counting Votes Today

Source: AP Photo/Matt Slocum

It's coming down to Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. The votes are being counted. Well, not so much in Pennsylvania, where workers in Allegheny County, which encompasses Pittsburgh, decided to just take the day off. Iā€™m not kidding. And this was the case on election night as well in the western part of the state. These folks got sleepy and went home. Itā€™s inexcusable. Itā€™s pathetic, really. This date didnā€™t just pop up on the calendar yesterday. Itā€™s been there for four years. Pennsylvania is a key state for both parties. Its electoral college votes will keep it that way. You stay until all the votes are counted.

Right now, New York Times reporter Trip Gabriel said that ā€œAllegheny County, PA still has 35,413 uncounted mail-in ballots, but elections staff is taking today off for ā€˜administrative workā€™ and will not resume count until Friday.ā€

Again, none of this is normal.

This isn't even a partisan issue. I wouldn't even be able to respond in favor of Trump with all of this.

UPDATE FOUND:
NY Times Reporter Busted For Spreading FAKE / INCOMPLETE NEWS:

...according to Twitchy.com

"Not just a day off. 29k of 35k left can't be legally counted until Fri. due to court order. 29k are replacement ballots bc a contracted company delivered wrong ballots last month. Election return board HAS to legally meet tmrw before counting can resume https://t.co/1tvsWBlZiC

Maybe Twitter should censor this NYT journo for spreading fake news?

.

The left is simply stalling for time as they manufacture and produce more mail in ballots for
Mentally Deficient Joe. The gig is up. We all know.
The left is in the middle of a coup in front of the whole world.

I researched the initial report by the NY Times reporter after I posted it because I try to verify the information / articles I post. After finding the 2nd link confirming what the NY Times reporter reported I came across the Twitchy link / report that got the rest of the facts straight from the Allegheny County Election Board Reps.

Apologies for the initial report / link, but I had to post the update debunking the initial thread link Don't know if the NY Times reporter was just too lazy to get all the information or intentionally tried to 'stir up things' with his report.

He states he could not get an answer to WHY they were taking the day off:

Obviously 1) he was talking to the wrong people or 2) he lied and didn't make an effort to find out. Either way, the fact that he spread the fake news without getting the entire story is piss-poor journalism on his part. I guess that's what they teach their reporters at the NY Times.

They need a break. Besides, if Nevada goes for Biden today, then the Left can claim Joe has 270 and PA can just stop counting!

Because they are short ballots, and The GOP had to actually sue to get observers in to Philly after being barred for two days. All those votes for the past two days should be counted again. They will ship in ballots after everyone is gone.

Again, none of this is normal.

This isn't even a partisan issue. I wouldn't even be able to respond in favor of Trump with all of this.

It was absolutely made a partisan issue. If Republicans weren't playing games and allowed mail-in votes to be counted early like many other states did everything would have been already done.

Russia, Russia, Russia, then the Ukraine phone call (Coups number one and two).
Now the theft of a presidential election by ballot fraud (number three).

Undoubtedly fighting back to end the theft of the presidency will be the rationale for Coup number four.

We can all remember a bully who would grab a victim's own hand and punch himself with it.
The leftist bullies never forget a classic bit.

They've already addressed this.

These ballots are being contested by the Trump campaign because of when they arrived IIRC.

So until there is some decision, they're not going to count them. They'll be counted when a decision comes.

If all of this was happening in Zimbabwe or Belarus or you know one of those type of countries then the filthy media would be shouting the election was being stolen.

Then call the state now.

If I was reversed, against Bicn, they would be doing so.

Absolutely they would be doing so. Can you imagine if at say Midnight in X State Biden was ahead by 200,000 votes and then suddenly they stopped counting and then when everyone had gone home to bed trucks arrived at 4AM with what looked like ballot boxes arriving and then at 6AM 138,000 votes were dumped and 100% of those votes were all for Trump, zero for Biden, zero for Third Party and then during the day they kept finding thousands of more ballots and 100% were all for Trump, zero for Biden, zero for Third Party.

The Democrats and the filthy media would be screaming it looked like vote fraud.

So in an effort to understand...

The taxpayer pays a salary to an individual who hires a staff at the cost of the taxpayer and the individual sets certain guidelines such as "when ballots are delivered, they are to be put into room A".....but for some reason, some ballots are found in Room B, the janitors closet and the dumpster......
And the individual hired to make sure that doesn't happen simply says "we found ballots in room B" without any consequences to anyone.
Wonderful.

I am curious...the individual who opted to not follow the guidelines and instead of putting the ballots in room A as directed, he/she opts to put it in room B.

What happens to that individual?

A raise?
