I've said for decades...

We don't have "shutdowns" we have "slowdowns". We need to end that, if the government lets its funding lapse (or an agency goes unfunded) - shut it down.

None of this nansy-pansy bull shyte with "essential" workings working now to be paid later, nope. Shut it down. The attempt is to lessen the "pain". I say that is the wrong approach, the approach should be maximize pain to the politicians don't let it happen.

No funding for DHS? Fine. Shut down ICE, CBP, TSA, FBI, etc. Shutting down TSA shuts down air travel, they would get a budget passed pretty damn quick.

And that goes for every other federal agency also. DOD, Social Security, DOE, ED, etc. If you are not funded close the doors, EVERYONE goes home, no back pay.

In the current situation, with no DHS funding there should be no TSA and the entire airline traffic industry grounds their plans. Believe me this situation would be resolved in minutes, not months.
