The Constitution gives the SC ultimate appellate power, the wording says nothing about denying it the ability to jump it with it's inferior courts if it so chooses to.

The wording in question is so congress couldn't create the "More Supreme Court" and say it had appellate power over the Supreme Court.

The State Courts have nothing to do with the Supreme Court or it's functioning.

Correct it gave them appealette power on pretty much anything dealing with cases involving constitutional issues and federal matters, but original jurisdiction on very few things

This is about AEA deportees (not the Abrego Garcia case) given proper notification and the ability to file a haebus corpus motion to challenge their inclusion in the proclamations classes as ordered by the SCOTUS in a 9-0 order.

Nothing says you cannot deport them either given that the Exectutive has that authority.

The threat to the lives of Americans is not alleviated by those in jail if it can be shown that the States willfully release detainees into the public to thwart a federal order of detainer.

In addition, those who are NOT yet apprehended are a direct threat to the life of every American citizen, and the idea that only courts have the authority to deport illegals is a direct threat to them.

The Constitution IS being followed. The illicit lawfare of illegal supporters using the courts as a delaying tactic does not make the deportation of illegals unConstitutional.

They do not have the right to due process deportation hearings becaues they have already been given deporation orders by their failure to appear as scheduled.

No the SCOTUS didn't change the law. People can always, ALWAYS challenge the constitutionality of a law.

In addition the AEA requires that the President issue a proclamation and define specifically who it applies to. People can challenge under the AEA as to whether they are actually in that group. Then through what is known as a habeas hearing (for haebus corpus) make the government prove they are included in the subject group and present country evidence showing they are not.

The SCOTUS AFFIRMED that even under the AEA individuals have due process rights to (A) meaningful notification, (B) sufficient time to file for habeas, and (C) a due process review under habeas as to whether they meet the conditions of the AEA expulsion.
