I disagree. Now what?
No. One guy killed another guy. They killed a man over alleged trespassing
Let them rot in jail
We agree sometimes. Not true. Then it is a day that ends in Y
What does the law state?Thought experiment:
Three black dudes break into a house. One rapes and murders the woman there. All three get life sentences. Is the verdict justice or is it unfair and racist?
He allowed Roddy the possibility of parole unlike the other two, but Georgia law dictates that can only be considered after he serves 30 years.Somebody said there were mandatory minimum sentences in Georgia.
Judge had no choice.
a convicted criminal on probation who had recently been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, a mental disease that can cause psychotic episodes, bizarrely attacked Travis and grabbed his shotgun.
So you think a getaway driver should get life. Even if he is black? What does the law state?
Is the getaway driver not accessory to the crime?
I believe in laws, not lawlessness, so if that's what the law says, so be it.So you think a getaway driver should get life. Even if he is black?
Three guys hunted him downNo. One guy killed another guy.
No. But look at them. They're white and from the South, so they're inbred?
Ahmaud Arbery case: Georgia men sentenced in 2020 murder of unarmed Black man
Three Georgia men were sentenced Friday after being convicted in the shooting death of Ahmaud Arbery, an unarmed Black man who was running through a mostly White neighborhood outside Brunswick.www.foxnews.com
Travis McMichael - Life in prison without parole plus 20 years
Greg McMichael - Life in prison without parole plus 20 years
William "Roddie" Bryan - Life in prison with the possibility of parole
Seems about right to me. All 3 will likely live out their lives in prison.
Maybe, just maybe, this will make the next group think twice about these types of actions .
Whatever they get will not be justice as the system that covered for them isn't getting sentenced.
Given that most blacks don't even know who their daddies are, there's a far better chance that they're inbred.No. But look at them.
Three ignorant, Trumphumpers removed from society.
I'm good.
They were obviously only found guilty because of jury intimidation, judicial malfeasance, and malicious prosecution.
The video proves that they are totally innocent political prisoners.
If that's what the law requires for having been convicted, then that's not spite, that's simply what the law requires.Yeah but he was the ring leader. The guy who took the video had no intention of killing anybody. Did he aid and abet the pursuing? Sure. Does he deserve some time in prison? hhhmmm..possibly. But 30 years? No, that's not justice. That's just spite. The shooter deserves a long time in prison - again, without parole is too harsh IMO. His dad deserves some time as well. Intent has a big play on this IMO.
And of course you are ignoring the fact that there was juror intimidation, dumbass.
You simply believed the fake news narrative, rather than the actual video evidence, because of you are very suggestible.
Facts.Insanity on your point doesn’t prove anything.
Here is the problem. The law actually prohibits pretty much every thing they did on that day.
They saw someone running. They had no information that he had committed any crime. He was just “in the area” where he didn’t belong. Unfortunately, public roads are open to all the public.
They armed up and set off in pursuit. Stupid and illegal. The charge is Aggravated Assault in Georgia.
They tried to ram him off the road. Assault with a vehicle. Aggravated Assault.
They shouted at him to stop or they would blow his fucking head off. Aggravated assault since they were armed.
They set up a roadblock to stop him. Travis raises his shotgun and Arbery shifts right. Travis sets off to cut him off with the shotgun. Aggravated Assault and attempted murder for pointing the gun at Arbery.
These are the laws. These are the laws of Georgia. They didn’t create the law. They discussed the precedents during the sentencing, during the trial, and during the preliminary hearings. You didn’t hear any of that. You didn’t want to.
All you wanted to hear was it was OK to kill a black guy.
I believe going into houses that aren’t yours is a crime.
