I miss Bush. Like all politicians, he had some flaws, but overall I think he was a good man for the job that needed to be done at the time. The more thoughtful, yet adjy answer is; In the last 2 years of the Bush Administration the Democratic Party with eyes riveted to the next election bypassed the interests of the American people. Armed with repeated warnings of the Bush Administration and Republicans in general the Democrats opted in favor of endless investigations bent to undermine his Presidency and their policy for failure in the war in Iraq. What Democrats don't seem to realize is that their pushing for far left policies in a country that is center/right, it's freaking people out.

They have a choice either appease Obama or appease the people who voted them in, in the first place. It will be interesting next week when they return from recess. Obama gives another speech on Wednesday and you know it's going to be a strong push on healthcare.

Pelosi will put all those blue dogs in a headlock, while Waxman drives bamboo shoots under thier toe nails.

We will soon see the torture of congress and the senate under the direction of Obama. I just hope the hold-outs don't cave and sign anything they have not read yet.
