And P.S. a pound of ground chuck at $6, a bag of frozen veggies at $2, and $4 for a cantaloupe for dinner is $12. That’s more than enough to feed a basic meal to a 25-year old mother and four pre-schoolers. That’s $2.40 each.

And remember, the SNAP program is intended to be SUPPLEMENTAL, not provide the entire food intake.

The only thing that can solve the drug problem is a decision. People make a series of decisions throughout their lives and those that consistently make good decisions usually go on to have rewarding lives. I did it, and it wasn't even hard. Those that make consistently bad decisions go on to have miserable lives. No one forces anyone to get addicted to drugs and alcohol. Addiction is the result of a bad decision repeated enough times.

I think the democraps are going to regret shutting down the government because they inadvertently put the welfare queens back in focus. I think the federal government should get out of SNAP and transfer it to the states to manage. Same with Section 8 housing. Same with education. Same with a lot of stuff.

All of this is social. Even Trump stated this in his interview with Theo that drinking can be worse, and I agree, as it is an acceptable social endeavour and this isn't just in the U.S.

So which is worse? We have legalized weed here and I don't see people walking the streets smoking it. In fact, when I see people going into these stores the vast majority are older people. Criminal nonsupport charges can be a felony if support isn't paid for six months or if arrearages exceed $5,000. He was the lucky one with a DNA matching the now 4yr old child. At that time state clawed back enough money to buy a top of the line corvette off the showroom floor. Then his wages were continuously garnished even after moving to Texas working inside Alliance Foreign Trade Zone until the kid graduated college. That one night stand as a teen cost him over $720k

Sad case, but in most cases the mother knows who the father is. It’s just that the government giveaway system gives her the option to collect taxpayer-funded benefits instead of going after the father.

In the case of the four illegitimate children I know, the mother knows who the father is in each case. She says she prefers to make other people pay (well, she says “govt”) than deal with the a-hole fathers.

She should not have that choice.
