Don't forget most people getting SNAP work. So their employers are being subsidized by the US tax payers. If we cut this off then those employers will be forced to pay more. I'm all for that but how about we raise those peoples wages and THEN cut them off of SNAP. Cut them off by having them make so much they don't qualify for SNAP anymore.

When America was great 35% of workers were in unions and this FORCED companies to pay more. Even non union workers made more because of the unions.

Maybe we could reduce taxes and corporate taxes so the dollar goes further and companies will pay more.

Also, what happened to the "$15/hr minimum wage"? That was supposed to solve everything, right? Pretty much everyone is paying $15/hr and guess what, its not working. What happens when you inject more money into the economy? Inflation happens, except now, people were thrust into a higher tax bracket because their wages doubled, but inflation means they have to pay more for things with not much more money.
