Interesting.

It appears to bar information being given to any legal or legislative procedure, but only if that information comes from a member of the armed forces. So, if Lieutenant Colonel Vindman, for example, was the phone call whistle blower, his information could no longer be received. Why would Schiff want to ban what he himself suborned?

The answer is obvious. Like gun control laws, this provision will only apply to the law-abiding. If a member of the armed forces tells some juicy made up gossip to Schiff that he wants to run with, he will just say it is from an anonymous whistle blower, or find some non-military person to pass on the second hand gossip as their own.

As always the Democrats count on the Republicans to have at least a little bit of ethics, which puts them at a huge disadvantage against Democrats.
