In reality, your friends pick you, you dont pick your friends. Trust is given not earned, respect is earned and not given. True friends have both your trust and respect, which isnt easy. I have respect for some peolpe I really dont trust and visa-versa. Best friends are few and far between, they have 'your trust', 'respect' and 'your back' in any situation (regardless)
