From the very start he said that he would not allow anyone to be confirmed on the last year of a presidency and he did reverse that on Barrett. Nonetheless, he has a REASON to waffle because he wanted no Democratic leaning person put on the Supreme Court and he did want a Republican leaning person on the Supreme Court. That is being true to what he believes (no Democrat power). I never said he believed in principles. I said he believed in what he believed was right for the Republicans and he never waffled on that.
