Every person is different. My 3 kids are much happier divorced. All of them. And I as their father cannot be happier they are divorced from their awful marriages. So divorce can be a great great thing.
Well....
Only 30% of all cohabitations and marriages (combined) ever actually survive long term.
Mostly because people have bad habits of trying to have control over a spouse. (Trying to keep them from leaving they cause them to leave)
Also women have the upper hand in a divorce....and its become all too common for women to marry men for their money and then to divorce them for their future earnings.
Pre-nuptual agreements are a MUST these days....not just a good suggestion....a necessity.
Men especially do not want to cause pregnancies when the future is seen as unstable.
And a fussy wife? Prime example of instability. (Men are incapable of determining the real, root cause of "fussy"...so this is all I can say on the matter)
So are: Unemployment, underemployment , Job change/transfer, housing costs, insufficient medical care or finances for it....
For women...
Erratic behavior from the men in the form of excessive drinking/chemical dependency, jail time due to rage/fighting, incarceration, insolvency due to lack of career/job.....and let's not forget the ever popular hygiene issues. (Smell is everything) fresh sweat good....old sweat bad. And some popular colognes....ugggghhhhh....nope!
Also for men....
90% would rather die alone than be married to a woman who has birthed another man's child.
