The fundamental question of the "Social Justice" narrative is never openly asked: Where does Congress get the power to take money from one group of taxpayers and give it to their fellow citizens, regardless of the purpose?

And the answer is, "Nowhere."

You can scour Article I until your scouring pad wears out and you won't find it. Congress has NO POWER to confer any benefit on any individual, citizen or not. And the Tenth Amendment makes it clear to those who take it seriously that if the Constitution does not give a "power" to the Federal government, it is reserved to the States and the private sector.

This simple observation renders the whole cornucopia of Federal benefits unconstitutional: Welfare, SNAP, Medicaid, Dept of Education goodies, healthcare, housing...you name it. It's all unconstitutional. Want to solve the deficit nightmare? Stop the unconstitutional spending and we would have a surplus every year.
