A few things, I’m not a military expert and never served so this is a layman’s opinion:

Iran likely hasn’t fired their best antiship missiles at our carriers

One missile hitting the deck of a carrier renders that carrier basically useless

We don’t to need to spend trillions to defend our homeland

We should use the military technologies for the benefit of the people. Don't laugh
