It has a higher melting point than a fire can achieve. yet blacksmith have used fire to form steel forever. it doesn't have to melt. It just has to soften enough to no longer be able to support the structure. A building is designed so that each floor can support it's own weight. So when support soften enough to no longer support their floor, it collapsed. Putting more weight on the floor underneath, and so forth. it's basic physics.

Total bullshit. Nor only does it have to melt it has to all melt at the same time for a total free fall collapae to happen. Then the steel would be twisted and unrecognizable. Instead it was scattered in nice straight pieces across a quarter mile.

You can easily see the steel beams being cut and blown out sideways. This is not steel that is melting. It is being cut.

His comrades came to his aid and they dragged him to safety.

I was looking for an ambulance for my knees, and at that time they told me we gotta walk 20 blocks to a refuge. Before I got there, Eyewitness News grabbed me and started interviewing me.

Of course it dropped like a rock. It fell and free fall acceleration the way a rock would drop from that height, which can only be accomplished if a mass is dropping through thin air. That's what a demolition does. Cuts all the supports at the same time so the pieces are falling through thin air.
