83% in favor photo voter id to vote per Pew

Never.........in my entire life I've flown 4 times. Private plane as a kid. Twice on a 727 the last time 26 years ago and last summer on a private jet. (no ID at all needed)

Sorry pal but you have to show ID to fly on a private or charter flight.

Let me quess, you don't buys booze, or drive a car, or stay in a hotel or ... either

Sure I do. You can go down all the rabbit holes you want. I'm registered. You're not going to be able to get me to have to register again.

I support Voter ID, I think it has value.

There are conditions though that need to be in place so Voter ID is not used for voter suppression to include (but not limited to):
  • Such ID as to be 100% free to include no cost in obtaining underlying documents used to obtain the ID.
  • Voter ID should not be used to inhibit mail in voting (in other words the ID # must be provided as part of ballot security.
  • There needs to be an ombudsman office to assist those that have difficulty in verifying ID with obtaining resolution (up to and including issuing authorization for the ID).

One of the biggest things I disagree with though is our current voter registration system is outdated and all citizens should be automatically considered registered to vote unless the franchise was removed. Out current system is based on the conditions from the Revolutionary War and need updating.

I registered in 1980. I was gave a voters registration card which I have always used.

I do not support having to jump through additional hoops to exercise the Constitutional rights I have exercised for 45 years.
What state are you in. States don't all have the same imporatant information to vote. Some call you a citizaen merely by getting a cdrivers license. Clearly illegal aliens also get those same drivers licenses.

But they don't vote despite the whining.

Tough shit.

With the millions of "assylum seekers" the last administration sent in, we need voter ID much more than we did in the '80's when we only had to worry about Brian Johnson voting.

If Google AI is not mistaken, not one single US state issues a voter registration card that has an actual photograph on it.

Why are you against the need for a photo ID when voting? Do you not see the possibility of fraud there?

Yep we have that in Arizona. Hmmmm interesting how Arizona has shifted from "Red" to "Purple" since they implemented Automatic Voter Registration when you go ONLINE to get your driver's license.
