Actually.....

Most people when meeting people from the Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico don't even realize they are US citizens. They barely recognize Hawaiians as US citizens. (Kinda ridiculous)

Taking on Greenland as a US territory is not a bad thing whatsoever.
We don't need to "invade". We can make this a VERY pleasant experience the natives of Greenland....

However,
I'm concerned about it. Because if we do anything like what we did in Alaska it's going to be another $hi7 show. The indigenous population overcome by American excesses of Alcohol, gambling, and prostitution. Not everyone has of course but still significant portions of the population will be.
And their culture will be lost for a while due to the influx. The jobs, the money, and the injection of people will result in changes and many of them will be positive but some negative.

The forced unwitting sterilization of women will end immediately. (Denmark has done this to most of the women there)

If the USA does not adopt Greenland,
Russia or China will. Denmark/EU is incapable of protecting Greenland.

The EU members ALL (except Poland).have spent defense money on social engineering in their countries. Instead of building a defensive military they have crushed independence of their people.

So now that real threats emerge from Russia and China there's a need to defend this land. It is instrumental in the Golden Dome defense network with early detection of missiles and stopping any EMP burst that could knock out the USA before we can respond.

My son is an ER doctor. Doctor salaries arent the bulk of what you are paying for - its 8-10% of your bill. Its the Hospital and administrative costs that are 45-55% of your bill.

You said that in response to affordable healthcare. The implication is that it was a cost driver. I just explained its only 8-10% of your bill so more doctors does not materially lower your bill. No need to be insulting on your first day back just address the facts.

It’s expensive to be a doctor because of the rigorous training they get. You want good doctors then they need to be the best people with the best training. Training dumb people to be doctors wont lower you healthcare. It will raise it by driving incompetence and mistakes up.
