A new CNN poll reveals how people mad at both parties see the midterms

Nothing is wrong with a third party.

What we need to do (fat chance of this happening) is remove the barriers to getting a 3rd party fielded. One of the most damaging things about Trumpism is that it changed the norms. We may never have another presidential debate because his blobness made it fashionable (and the compliant media is complicit) and normal to simply ignore the Commission of Presidential Debates (CPB). Don't get me wrong, Bush I, Bush II, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, etc... would have done the same thing if they thought they could get away with having no debates with the nominee from the opposite party. Who stopped them? Their own voters. They saw the value in winning the middle with argument. With MAGA, the constituency are essentially anarchists who feel that we shouldn't even have a federal government. So Mara-Lard-Ass was able to skip the debates without his voters wondering about his readiness. Hence we have the pathetic blob in the oval that we have now; up to our waist in the middle east--again--for the 3rd time in 40 years and no end in sight. A democrat will, once again, have to clean up a GOP mess.

Anyway....one "turbo thrust" way that a 3rd party could get some recognition is to expose the public to their views...not the voters but the public in general. Those who are not following politics throughout the year. Put Jane Doe up on stage with the D and the R and let them have a real debate. There are (or were) structural issues in the CPD that prevented it.
Tell us why Trump should play the leftwing media game on the debates? Their rules, their biased moderators, their biased questions.

The guy who falls into line doesn't get the girl and doesn't win the presidency. Trump did it the way he had to do it to pull the upsets.
