Why does one need a degree in political science first? Why not accept people to medical school out of HS? So now you’re only paying for med school. Other countries do that. Then why not give doctors a 5% federal tax rate for their first 7 years of practice to help them pay off school loans. That will increase supply and costs will go down. You’re really dumb. Are you sure you’re in finance?

Trump altered the loan payback finances with his atrocious BBB. Loans used to have a lower payment for a grace period (income driven deferment actually) as doctors got through low paying residency. He ended that and it is driving the cost to be a doctor up. This affects my son directly. Talk to Trump about it.

Europe and China have competent doctors too as do Turkey and Russia. Medical school costs are out of control and the bang is not worth the buck. My oldest is smart enough to go down that path but she is going to go to school for business because the return is greater. That’s not right but it’s factual. We need a change. We do need changes to lower healthcare but it isnt a less rigorous doctor field - I explained that is a minor cost of healthcare bills. My son was 3rd in his HS class, got an academic scholarship to a flagship university, got virtually straight A’s (one B+ in 4 years) majoring in biology and neurology, scored higher than 92% of prospective doctor candidates on the MCAT and was rejected by 19 medical programs. Got into 2 MD programs. It’s competitive. US doctors are the world’s best.
The hospital costs and administrative cost are the drain, along with prescriptions. That’s where you need to focus your ire.

What about the 2nd part. It’s tough to find doctors and many aren’t taking new patients. My aunt is an MD so my family is lucky as my wife and kids go to her. I have a great doc but he is 67 and retiring soon. We don’t have enough doctors for our growing population. Why? To become one and remain one is too expensive. My doc had to join a doc group just to remain a doc.

Then in my opinion its important to support the US taking control over Greenland and making sure China or Russia does not... peacefully while that's still possible.... If CNN worded their poll question unbiasedly 75% of Americans would support the idea....

I know you are and I'm also more isolationist than not... but our nation must stay the global lone super power militarily and economically... the dollar must remain the global currency.... China desperately wants to change that...
It doesn't matter how many people might oppose it. Once it is done, no future president and congress will ever give it back. Populating it with hundreds of thousands of Americans to set the stage for statehood would eliminate any arguments as well.
