Nor do I. And I doubt more than a handful of Americans want us to INVADE Greenland.
Somehow annexing it, however, is a totally different proposition. I'm fairly neutral on that at this point. It may be beneficial to both parties and a buffer against further Chinese and/or Russian aggression and expansionist plans.
I give Trump credit for even broaching the subject. He's very much a different thinker than any of the usual droids we've seen in office. I find it interesting and refreshing, for the most part.

I've been anti China/CCP since Tiananmen Square. But they aren't the lone superpower. They could have tried to defend their ally Iran against US and Israel, they chickened out. They could have tried to challenge the US naval forces near their ally Maduro/Venezuela recently, they chickened out.


That's the one thing about Greenland, you can invade it, you can't hold it, nope. Greenland is a continent specific ice age, and the only places you can live, for now, are on the coast. If you are on the coast and we want to take you out, you are "toast."

That should be our position, that we will defend Greenland from a foreign attacker.
