Well when Wall St is projecting a 30% drop in GDP next quarter they should be worried. When there's no exit strategy or plan to get the economy going again they should be more worried. When Jeff Bezos drops 100 million into food banks there might be a reason.

The banks will start coming for people's homes and it will make '08 look like a fart in a hurricane. For reference, we had ~6 million foreclosures in 08 and 09.

How many millions of families will be out this time if we keep on this path for any extended period. Ten million? Twenty million? More?

We need a plan to get as many people back to work as possible as soon as reasonably possible. Get the testing gap closed so we can identify new cases quickly and establish workers are negative, establish protocols for testing and proper procedures in workplaces, protect the vulnerable as much as reasonably possible without continuing to shut the economy down and phase the economy back in.

Capitalism can withstand a 30 day shutdown in the US if Americans demand their government provide support to the 99% before it bails out Wall Street again.
