5) Trump promised to deport illegal aliens. HE IS FULFILLING THIS PROMISE BUT SOME OF IT IS BEING DONE ILLEGALLY.

The above are the 4 of 5 promises he made that are not occurring but there are a lot of other things he promised that he has not kept. For example, To make MAGA!

2) the Dollar is sinking, making the established international currency weak and making our own buying power less.
3) U.S. Bonds have dropped in value, even though in times of stress and market instability, they are normally bought (as a security blanket). They are going down in value, meaning our Bonds are no longer considered a "safety net".
4) Trade interest with the U.S. will diminish as the tariffs will make our products more expensive.
5) Friendship with other countries has diminished (it not totally gone away), making us less safe and creating enemies that did not exist previously

Grocery prices are higher, our country owes more, meaning you owe more, there is panic and anger everywhere, meaning all of our lives are less secure, your savings have diminished in value (especially if you have a 401K), you cannot travel anywhere in the world now without risk, given that Americans are now hated everywhere..............so tell me how your life is better?

I'm guessing that you are getting hit hard personally by all of this. Sorry about that. However, not everyone is. I'm not affected very much by any of it. If my food costs go up a bit, I don't worry about it as I don't eat that much anyway.

What is troubling for many is the belief that they must spend a lot on foods in order to be healthy. In fact, the more you spend on food the less healthy you're likely to be as that indicates overeating/obesity (a very widespread health problem).

Regarding finances, earnings on my savings are above the rate of inflation, and, I don't spend much money and if I do there are always bargains out there. For example, my last car is a 2003 model that cost me $7000.

Inflation for the last year was 2.4 percent. Interest on my savings averages about 4 percent. I'm rolling one of my CDs into a 4.50 percent CD on Monday. My lowest CD earns 3.50 percent, still above the rate of inflation. CDs are safe too, insured by FDIC.
