I don't. I was making a larger point that "storage" is not a problem. So if Solar only works intermittently there IS storage.

And that's also where the neat R&D is happening as well. New battery technologies are coming up. Better Li batteries or even sodium ion if I remember correctly.

There's a lot of potential for solar and wind and ultimately we won't have a lot of choice in how we get energy.

Storage is actually a huge problem because they have none. Other than fossil fuels that is.

You paint a rosy picture of future technologies but at the end of the day batteries are a low energy density technology. Which is precisely the reason for why you don't see widespread battery backup installations for solar and wind now.

I see no path for renewables replacing fossil fuels for electrical generation without some form of significant storage. I see no path for significant storage because of the low energy density of batteries. Do the math.
