Former Trump Vice-President Mike Pence possessed classified documents from January 20, 2021 forward. NB That part of the [BS] charging document of Donald Trump says he possessed them from January 20, 2021, same as Pence possessed them.

And not until after the MAL raid did Pence decide maybe he should search to see if he possessed any classified documents. Meaning Pence possessed them longer than Trump did.

A 100% selective prosecution of Trump because he is a threat to the deep state, whereas Pence is no threat to that same deep state.

For the same reason Trump wasn't.

Michael returned the ones that he had, as requested.

Trump refused, because he knows that the more conservative the woman, the more she likes bad boys. Opposites apparently have a strong attraction.

Pence was asked to postpone the election results of 2020 so there could be an accounting of the 2am irregularities of certain states. Mike Pence is an establishment republican who went against the populace.

Yup. Trump wasn't charged with possessing classified documents.

He was charged with willfully retaining them. Which Pence never did.

Simple. He gave them back when they were discovered. He didn't try to hide them, or hang on to them, or obstruct investigators.
Same reason Biden won't be charged.

Trump cooked his own goose here. He's on tape admitting it.

44 U.S. Code § 2205 - Exceptions to restricted access
..

(3) the Presidential records of a former President shall be available to such former President

Made available by whom?

The Archivist. Not simply taken by Trump and kept in defiance of a subpoena.

Actually read the argument you're being told to ape.

Section 2 of the same subparagraph:

(2) subject to any rights, defenses, or privileges which the United States or any agency or person may invoke, Presidential records shall be made available—
(A) pursuant to subpoena or other judicial process issued by a court of competent jurisdiction for the purposes of any civil or criminal investigation or proceeding;

Trump defied a subpoena. He retained classified documents that had NEVER been made available to him by the Archivist. And just showed them to people like staffers and interviewers. And obstructed justice to do it, lying to investigators, hiding the docs and compelling his lawyers to lie.

You'll need to ape better talking points, Ex.

Congress had 2 months to look into that. Meanwhile, the law states the vice president starts counting the electoral votes on January 6th following an election. On whose authority did Pence have to violate that law?

Admitting what ? What the presidential records act says its OK fo him to do ? See Post # 7.

LOL

As I said in the OP, he only decided to admit to having them after the MAL raid. Duh!

They dont HAVE TO be made available to him by the archivist or anybody else, they just have to be available to him.

The "law" Section 2205 (3) of the Presidential Records Act (USC 44 Ch 22) says >>> "(3) the Presidential records of a former President shall be available to such former President or the former President's designated representative."

Says you, citing yourself. Not the law.

The law says all presidential records belong to the archive, are controlled by the archivist, and are made available to the former president.

NOT that the former president can steal classified documents, refuse to give them back and defy a subpoena and show them to other people.

Again, look at the subsection you're quoting.
