Betty Ford was pro-ERA and pro-abortion - the sort of "republican" the lib media loves. She didn't do anything much in her life but found a drunk tank in palm desert.

By contrast, a couple years ago William F. Buckley died - he was founder of the modern american conservative movement, the intellect behind the political views of at least half of americans. You would have missed the scant lib media coverage if you blinked.

William who?

Read up, dumbass.

He sounds like a real bore. I mean what did he do for America? Seems he was some RW nutjob.

One of the premier intellects if the last 50 years. Yeah, I know you didn't hear about him your ghetto school.

Betty Ford left a legacy.

She turned into a druggie and a drunk because she was upset that her husband lost the presidential race to a cracker peanut farmer. :lmao:

Whoops.

Looks like the "mainstream media" gave plenty of coverage to William F. Buckley's death:

 I just googled "green turds" and got a million hits. The number of such hits is meaningless. TV media virtually ignored him. Their were no TV retrospectives, something that OBVIOUSLY should have done for someone of his stature.

It's rather amusing watching you brag about being an utter ignoramus.

But back to Betty. She was her own person, and much admired for that. She did a great deal for cancer awareness by publicizing her own battle with it. It says a great deal about you that you just can't say RIP instead of virtually spitting on her grave.

A hack is as a hack does.

But not as amusing as watching you make a fool of yourself.

As opposed to what - another person?

The thrust of the thread was not betty ford per se, but WHY they were making a big deal out of her. If she had been pro-life and anti-ERA, there wouldn't be even 1% of the lib media coverage.

Only a hack would make a colossally STUPID thread such as this.

*SMH*

Buckely recieved a good deal of coverage. So did Ford. So did Nixon. So did Reagan.

Betty Ford, was a great American and a better person. She had grit, elegance and grace.

Why anyone is complaining about this crap..is beyond me.

When you're a no-namebrand rabid RW nutjob hack, a nonsensical thread such as this is par for the course.
