When Bush was running for office, liberals were saying he's only in it for rich people and that he would be a disastrous president. That he wasn't bright and that he would screw over the middle class.
When Obama ran, conservatives were saying he's a "Soviet style Marxist" who will curtail your gun rights and side with the Muslims who attacked the US.
Under Obama, gun rights have been expanded, he's taken out most of al Qaeda and the only rights being curtailed are the ones Republicans are working on. Voter suppression, women's rights and stopping gays from equality.
And Bush? We've already listed his failures and cons ad naseum.
Now that elections are starting up, Republicans are using the same old slogans. They same fears. Do they think people will fall for it when it didn't work the last time? And remember, it was the liberals who were right and the conservatives who were disastrously wrong.
