The reason all the GOP politicians are scared of Trump is because they know it's political suicide to drop to the level he is currently at.

Trump can get away with it because people don't think of him as a politician, but more of a reality star, and his bombastic personality is what made him popular on the Apprentice, and because people are used to his style from the show, they let him get away with much more.

We expect our politicians to speak differently than what we expect out of reality stars.
