Why Do So Many Hardcore Racists Deny It When Called Out?

You mean like you do?
The new racism is to deny the existence of racism and then accuse those who call you out on your racism ….racists - even us white people. You motorically .claim the we hate our own race That is how stupid and despicable, dishonest and idiotic you people are. It's not so easy to get away with blatant, obvious racism anymore so you resort to dog whistle rhetoric and other tactics that you know will get your message across to your ilk while giving you-what you think is- plausible deniability- but it is not at all plausible. It is painfully obvious.

I don't get it. So many die hard racist have engaged id, currently engage in and will engage in racist rhetoric and behavior, but when called out, always seem to slink away from it.

Why? Aren't they supposed to be proud of their stance? They should be proud.

I see it right here on USMB practically every day I post. Why hold a position that you're ashamed to stand by publicly?

Anyone have any thoughts on this phenomenon?
Racism is Embarrassing.

Being called racist, simply because you kicked some dems ass in a debate, is not embarrassing, it is enraging.

Your vile tactics are tearing this nation apart.

Why do you want to divide US, so badly?
Sadly (for you) that isn't what happens usually.

What would change for you, if you were to just start accepting at face value, ever republican or conservative, who said he was not racist?
Republicans are well known liars.

I would be knowingly allowing myself to be deceived.

YOur personal opinion on that is noted.

But what would change for you? Would you have to start supporting President Trump? Would you be unable to argue against policies, that you disagree with ?

Our racist friends really don't think of themselves as "racist" at all. They think they are progressives because of the way they kiss up to the Poverty Pimps and just fail to see their advocacy Racist Programs like Affirmative Action as "racist".

Personally, I think its due to the fact that its been almost50 years since the Liberals openly said they were racist. I remember when liberal leaders like George C. Wallace were advocating to send the black people back to Africa in 1968. Those days are gone, our lib friends have really gone to other ideas. But even back then, Wallace never said he was a racist, even when he was advocating deportation of African Americans.

George C. Wallace was never a "Liberal" in his life. Are you shittin' me? :wtf:

Wallace in fact specifically railed AGAINST 'northern liburruls' pretty constantly. What date did you fall off the turnip truck to get here exactly?

Did you know that he won election to governor, AFTER he recanted and flipped on racism?

I'm sure that can all be looked up but it has zero to do with the post quoted.

It can be looked up very easily.

And it says something about Georgia, as deep south as you can get, that his flipping on race, did not hurt him politically.

Did you know about that? Is that not surprising to you?

No I did not know about that, since Wallace was from, and governed, Alabama. So yeah that is kind of surprising. Didn't know you could be governor of two different states.

Knowingly allowing yourself to be decieved is bad, it can lead to incorrect decisions and bad choices.

You kids should know, you support tRump.

My point about his election stands. Is that not interesting to you?

1. Name one decision you would make differently, if you decided to believe a republican denial of racism.

No. The post had nothing to do with "elections". It had to do with the other poster's characterization of George C. Wallace as a "liberal".

While never having lived in Alabama I understand he did reverse his racist sentiments later in life, but the fact that he had to be dragged to that point screaming and kicking illustrates that he was ultra-conservative.

In fact why don't we go to some quotes from Wallace himself...

"I am a conservative. I intend to give the American people a clear choice. I welcome a fight between our philosophy and the liberal left-wing dogma which now threatens to engulf every man, woman, and child in the United States. I am in this race because I believe the American people have been pushed around long enough and that they, like you and I, are fed up with the continuing trend toward a socialist state which now subjects the individual to the dictates of an all-powerful central government." (1964, the year he offered to be Barry Goldwater's running mate)

"I am having nothing to do with enforcing a law that will destroy the rights of private property. I am having nothing to do with enforcing a law that destroys your right --and my right -- to choose my neighbors -- or to sell my house to whomever I choose. I am having nothing to do with enforcing a law that destroys the labor seniority system. I am having nothing to do with this so-called civil rights bill. The liberal left-wingers have passed it. Now let them employ some pinknik social engineers in Washington, D.C., to figure out what to do with it." (also 1964, whining about LBJ's Civil Rights Act signed two days before

If you have to tell people that you are not a racist, you probobly are a racist. My world view has nothing to do with it. I judge individuals by their words and deeds

it is not interesting to you that the most iconic segregationist, renounced segregation, sought and received forgiveness from blacks, and despite that, won a statewide election in one of the Deep South states, several decades ago?

His base by the way, remained the backwater, rural white voters, whom according to the modern conventional wisdom, are the most evul and racist of this, our evul and racist nation.

Seriously?

If you were serious about wanting to discuss it, you should have included a link where it was shown in context.
Is his own party lying on him then, is that what you're suggesting?

Steve King rebuked: House passes disapproval resolution over white supremacy comments

So when Republicans say what you want, then they are pillars of the community leading the way for truth and justice? They are only full of it the REST of the time when you don't like their stance, right? The GOP are like scalded dogs with their tails between their legs, they run so fast from any controversy. They eat their own while democrats laugh. The #1 reason why we elected Donald Trump.

Because they see nothing wrong with their mindset. To them, it's all so obvious... How can they be wrong? Just look at what they present as evidence, it's all right there...

A white person speaking about whites as a group, and with concern for their interests, is not racism.

THAT IS THE POINT.

You are the one holding whites to a different standard than you hold yourself or other lefties too.

That is why you see racism everywhere. Because you misidentify vast segments of normalcy as racism.
When he said that offensive remark about Mexicans having calves the size of cantelopes, was that one of the examples of Steve King not being a racist and merely "concerned with the interests of white people" that you were talking about?

It is not what I was suggesting, but the willingness of the GOP to throw their own to the mob in a pathetic attempt to curry favor with the bloodthirsty savages, has happened before.

Oh, I see that this post contains the cantaloupe quote. So, it was a complaint about drug mules, lugging drugs across the border.

I asked a simple and serious question.

Are you unable to answer it? Are you afraid to answer it?

I did not see that quote in that article. There is a limit to how much shit I can wade though. I dont' think I even clicked on the huffington post link, for obvious reasons.

Note how quickly you ASSUMED I was being dishonest, when I just didn't click on your link.

What other assumptions do you make, that are wrong?

How did you feel when Hillary called you a "super predator", or when Bill Clinton said a few years ago Obama would be fetching the Clintons bags?
Your response warrants my DEFLECTION imagine.
