As for regular people who promote it, they're ignoring both history and common sense. It's lazy thinking that flies in the face of human nature.

It just happens to have been proven the world's greatest success in communist China. However, it can rightfully be claimed to be a blending of communism with strictly controlled socially responsible capitalism.

There's also Cuba that persists against all odds and US dirty tricks, that is a log in the eye of extremist and corrupt US capitalism.

China is there in Cuba now, cautiously acting as the great equalizer.

There are no communist governments. There has never been an actual communist government. Only governments that called themselves communist, but were actually dictatorships.
